Funeral services for Clarence Parrett, 44, Big Four agent of West Carrollton, who died at the National Military home last Sunday, were held at the Methodist church in West Carrollton Wednesday afternoon. Burial took place in the West Carrollton cemetery.

He leaves to mourn his death his wife, Mrs. Emma Parrett; his son, Robert, 17, and his son, Francis, 20. He also leaves his aged mother, sister, and two brothers.

He was born in Washington C.H., where at the age of 17 he joined the United States army and was stationed in the Philippines for more than two years and a half.

Born 13 June 1891 in Richland County, Ill., the Rev. Mr. Perrott was educated at Illinois State, McKendree College and Illinois Central. He taught in the public schools of Illinois and Mississippi.

The Rev. Mr. Perrott served as a missionary for the Methodist Episcopal Church in Louisiana and Mississippi and on the board of Home Missions. He was a veteran of World War I. In his later years he was a registere Polled Hereford Cattle Breeder.

While living near Summit he was a member of the Johnston Chape Methodist Church and a local deacon in the Mississippi Methodist Conference.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruby Johnston Perrott; two sons, T. Wayne Perrott, Hattiesburg, Coen Eston Perrott, Hazlehurst, and five grandchildren.

He is also survived by one brother, Orville Perrott, San Bernardino, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Wood, Mt. Carmel, Ill., and Mrs. Marce Swartz, Grover Hill, Ohio.

General Notes: NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Rev. Talmidge Wayne Parrott, 55, died Tuesday at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Services are 10 a.m. today at Napoleon Avenue United Methodist Church in New Orleans with burial in Bassfield Cemetery in Bassfield Tharp Funeral home in New Orleans is handling arrangements.

A native of McComb, he had lived in Jackson before moving to New Orleans. He is a former pastor of springridge United Methodist Church in Jackson and was pastor of Napoleon Avenue United Methodist Church in New Orleans.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hughlene Speightf Parrott of New Orleans; daughters Miss Hilda Parrott of New Orleans and Brenda Gail Parrott of Hattiesburg.

Miss Hughlene Speights, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.M. Speights of Bassfield, and Talmadge Wayne Perrott, son of Rev. and Mrs. T.D. Perrott of McComb, were united in holy matrimony in a beautiful ceremony at four o'clock in the afternoon, December 25, at the Bassfield Methodist Church. <snip>

The former Miss Speights is a graduate of the Bassfield Schools and Mississippi State College for Women at Columbus. While at M.S.C.W. she was a member of the Wesley Players, Wesley Foundation Council, the home economics club and the 4-H club.

Mr. Perrott obtained his education at Enterprise High School and Millsaps College, Jackson. At Millsaps he was a member of the track and football teams and was president of the ministerial association. He is now attending theological school at Boston University, where he will receive his Bachelor of Systemic Theology degree in June. After his graduation the young couple plan to make their home in Mississippi.

General Notes: BICKNELL - Harold Merv Perrott, 59, Bicknell, died at 6:59 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2003, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.

Born Feb. 23, 1944, in Olney, Ill., he was the son of Hugh and Grace (McFarren) Perrott.

He had worked in construction and the oil fields in south Texas. He was affiliated with the Methodist Church and was a member of the Bicknell French Club.

Survivors include his wife, Paula Kay Perrott, whom he married Feb. 23, 1979; three daughters of Bicknell, Georginnia Roark, Amber Perrott and Monica Mullins; a son, Harold Perrott Jr. of Bicknell; a stepson, Christopher Green of Bridgeport, Ill.; four grandchildren of Bicknell, Junior Roark, Christopher Mullins, Gavin Mullins and Brooklynn Roark; three stepgrandchilden of Bicknell, Tyler Tice, Cicily Green and Kristin Mullins; and a dear family friend, Jane Skinner of Bicknell.

A brother died in infancy.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in McClure-Utt Funeral Home in Bicknell by the Rev. John M. Moreland. Interment will be in Bicknell Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Dale E. Perrott, 73, of Van Wert, died at 6:32 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born July 8, 1940, in Van Wert, to the late Elnora G. (Dunlap) Perrott and Forrest D. Perrott.

His wife, Patricia "Pat" (Kreischer) Perrott, survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include children: Lori (Jesse) Sale of Wapakoneta, Ohio, Brenda (Doug) Dye and Brad (Yvonne) Perrott, both of Van Wert; brother: Jim (Judy) Perrott of Van Wert; grandchildren: Sarah (Bobby) Rays, Melissa Burk, Jared (Sarah) Perrott, Courtney Perrott, Kendall Dye, Jarrett Dye, Jordan Perrott, Ryleigh Dye, and a great-grandchild: Mason Rays.

He was preceded in death by a son: Robert E. Perrott.

He worked at Federal Mogul as a supervisor for quality assurance, retiring in 1995. He was a member of First Church of God, Van Wert. He was an avid sports fan, attending all of his children and grandchildren's sporting events. He loved photography.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at First Church of God, Van Wert. The Rev. Jay Watts will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Middle Point, Ohio.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, at First Church of God and after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Preferred memorial is Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center or First Church of God, Van Wert.
